Started in 1997 as a way for Minneapolis teens to gain important local recognition of their artistic abilities, Hot Art Injection has become one of WACTAC’s most popular and enduring programs–we’ve done it three times!! Visual art and film? Check. Music and dance? Check. Poetry and creative writing? Hell, yeah. The Teen Arts Council members curate the entire show–poring through hundreds of submissions, creating advertisements, prepping the gallery, framing the works, hanging the art, and overseeing the entire venture from conception to completion.
