From June to August, Open Field transforms the Walker’s green space into a cultural commons. The space is designed to explore what happens when people get together to share and exchange skills and interests, to create something new, or delve into the unknown. In each of its previous summer seasons, Open Field was home to more than 100 public-created activities that all have one thing in common: they exhibit a spirit of play, sharing, and social interaction.
Interested in engaging the Open Field community with your activity this summer? Whether you’re searching for an activity idea or intend to lead a lively balloon animal workshop or a performance illustrating the secret life of plankton, we invite you to attend an information session to learn more.
Please note: the May 1 session has been canceled.
