Join us for this special event for teachers as we celebrate the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden’s newest art commission, Okciyapi (Help Each Other) (2021) by artist Angela Two Stars (Dakota, Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate, b. 1982). The work is the first permanently installed public artwork by a Native artist in the Garden. Two Stars will deliver an artist talk and discuss the sculpture as well as her studio and public art practice. The program includes art-making activities with a special K–12 focus on art and language and a presentation of our newest teacher resource guides.

RSVP at www.EveningForEducatorsFall2022.eventbrite.com by Tuesday, October 4. Space is limited.

This event is free and open to K–12 teachers of all disciplines. Teachers may bring one additional guest. Parking validation will be provided.
