Trisha Brown's Man Walking Down the Side of a Building

The Trisha Brown Dance Company, as part of Year of Trisha, presented free outdoor performances of rarely staged early works. This day of dance reflected the Walkers long relationship with Brown and included the Walker-premiered Group Primary Accumulation on Rafts, first unveiled in Loring Park in 1974; her popular Spanish Dance from Line Up (1979); Spiral (1974); and the seminal Man Walking Down the Side of a Building (1970), which hadn’t been seen in the United States since its New York debut nearly 40 years ago.
