Minneapolis-based choreographer Chris Schlichting sat down with Talk Dance host Justin Jones to elaborate on the collaborative process and inspiration behind his new Walker-commissioned piece, Stripe Tease. The two discuss Schlichting’s slyly sexual movement vocabulary, his partnership with Jennifer Davis and Alpha Consumer, and the connections between his interests in food and dance.
Stripe Tease will have its world premiere in the Walker’s McGuire Theater Thursday–Saturday, February 19–21 at 8 pm.
