“Woodbury is very manicured. You’ll drive down any street and see perfectly cut lawn and perfectly trimmed trees,” says Andrea Schoenherr. “We’re steppin’ out a little.” In a 20-minute documentary, Fritz Haeg and Jacinto Astiazarán profile the Schoenherr family and their suburban Twin Cities neighborhood as their yard is transformed into Haeg’s 15th and final Edible Estate, a vegetable garden and vibrant community hub. Created as part of Haeg’s yearlong residency at the Walker Art Center, At Home in the City, the garden is complemented by a Foraging Circle created by Haeg in the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden and Domestic Integrities 05, an exhibition in the Walker’s galleries.
