Seeing a living person as part of a painting isn’t a typical museum experience–yet in this new Walker exhibition, that’s precisely what you’ll find. Encounter the unexpected as images subtly come alive or surprisingly reappear in a presentation that evolves over time. The Paradox of Stillness, on view May 15–August 8, features the following live performances in the galleries or public spaces. Some occur daily, while others are part of a series of changing works. Due to this continuous activity, the experience of the show is never the same from day to day. Visit more than once and see something new each time in this truly living exhibition.
