At farewell-party-the-first for then-Development staff member Dean Otto (now in Film/Video). After working in Development for a couple years, Dean left the Walker in January 1994 to work in social service in Chicago. His going away party was an amazing blow-out with wigs worn by all of the staff, the performance of an award-winning Gay ‘90s drag queen (personally selected and hired by Performing Arts Curator John Killacky), songs by local band Beangirl … and plenty of booze. On the left is Development staff member Craig “Ladyboots” Seacotte, in a fake mullet hat; on the right departing staff member Dean Otto, sporting the parting gifts of a mediocre wig, a boa, and a polyester shirt rank with embedded b.o. The Walker staff is always generous with appropriate farewell gifts.
