Faucher’s debut feature is the poignant story of Claire, a 17-year-old who, to hide her pregnancy from her family, runs away and finds work as an apprentice to an embroiderer for haute couturiers in Paris. The two women develop a close relationship, connected by threads of delicacy and strength.
