John Zorn offers his most recent and powerful Masada unit, Electric Masada—a free-flow blend of the raw power of his Naked City, the improvisational madness of Cobra, and the fused funk of Miles Davis’ Bitches Brew era. Perhaps the most exciting band Zorn has ever created, the downtown NYC supergroup’s personnel for this engagement features Zorn (saxophone), Marc Ribot (guitar), Jamie Saft (keyboards), Ikue Mori (electronics), Trevor Dunn (bass), Cyro Baptista (percussion), Joey Baron (drums), and Kenny Wollesen (drums).
