In every city there are stories waiting to be told. Young Dance, a company of Twin Cities dancers ages 7 to 18, performs segments from Voices, a production based on their interviews with influential individuals from our community.

Art-Making for the Entire Family: Map Your World!

Are you a crafty cartographer? Map sites in your neighborhood or places in your imagination during a collage activity led by artist Mara Pelecis.

Story-Reading: On the Town: A Community Adventure by Judith Caseley

Go on a neighborhood stroll with Charlie and his mom in this story about the importance of the local places and faces that affect our daily lives.

On the Big Screen: Hayat, directed by Gholam-Reza Ramezani

On the day of 12-year-old Hayat’s big exam, her father falls gravely ill and is taken to the hospital with her mother. She is left to care for her infant sister and searches all over her Iranian village for someone to babysit so she can get to school for the most important day of her life. 2005, Iran, in Persian with English subtitles, 80 minutes.
