Web 2.0 is the latest buzz word used to describe a set of emerging Internet-based tools designed to enhance creativity and promote collaboration and information-sharing. Learn how Web 2.0 can be a fun, creative, and educational resource in this workshop designed for parents and their kids, led by Scott Stulen, project director of mnartists.org. Sample a variety of tools such as Blogger, Flickr, and YouTube; learn less familiar ones such as del.icio.us and Twitter; and take away a list of ideas for ways to continue the fun at home. Online safety and privacy issues will be addressed.
