Examine the power of the voice as a tool for exchange and liberation with the San Francisco–based Futurefarmers. This interdisciplinary collective is internationally known for making art that is politically, socially, and environmentally relevant. The group’s Open Field project, commissioned in partnership with Northern, has them working with a cadre of singers, auctioneers, theorists, artists, and ethnomusicologists.
