Snow

This film of “skittish grace and genuine poignancy” (LA Times) chronicles the 24-hour romance of a failed musician and a former punk rocker as they weave their way around a frosty Minneapolis. Akin to John Cassavetes’ Shadows, Tretbar’s homage to the city shot in captivating black and white is an understated and moving film about the unmoored transition to adulthood. 1998,16mm, 88 minutes.
