How will the Garden will be rocked this summer? Join the Walker Art Center and 89.3 The Current for a live announcement of the Rock the Garden 2012 lineup at the Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul.

During this free, live broadcast, the public is invited to the Fitzgerald Theater to grab a drink, mingle in the theater, and hang out with 89.3 The Current’s Mary Lucia and the Walker’s Philip Bither as they talk about the June 16 concert. Hear the lineup first and expect surprise special guests at this “pre-party.”

Admission to the April 18 broadcast is free and open to the public; seating is first-come, first-served. The event is open to all ages. Alcohol (with valid ID) and other beverages will be available for purchase.

For those who can’t join us at the Fitzgerald in person, the Rock the Garden 2012 lineup unveiling will be broadcast 3 to 5 pm on 89.3 The Current and streamed on walkerart.org and thecurrent.org.

Rock the Garden Tickets:

Tickets will go on sale to Walker and MPR members Wednesday, April 18, at 4 pm online through Etix.com. A limited number of computers will be available at the Fitzgerald for self-service purchases. Personal mobile devices are recommended for purchasing tickets through the Etix.com site. All tickets are e-mailed, no printing will be available.

Walker/MPR membership ID numbers will be required for all pre-sale purchases.

Remaining tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 20, at 12 noon.
