Due to really awesome weather but not enough snow, some outdoor activities for Snow Field have been modified from our original program. This listing reflects those changes.

Gallery admission is free for everyone on the first Saturday of each month from 10 am to 5 pm, with a variety of family activities scheduled from 10 am to 3 pm.

Art Activity: Snow Solutions, 10 am–2 pm

Open Field
No snow? No problem. Join artists Andy DuCett and Scott Stulen to create a unique installation on the Open Field using cardboard.

Art Activity: Emotional Warming Hut, 11 am–2 pm

FlatPak House in the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden
Local artist Amanda Lovelee hosts an assemblage of events. Learn more about cuddling with Terry McDaniel, president of the Minnesota Hobby Beekeepers Association, who’ll talk about how bees stay warm in the winter. Then craft a special valentine for stranger in a local nursing home.

Film: Lost & Found, 10 am–3 pm

U.S. Bank Orientation Lounge
Watch a heart-warming story celebrating the value of friendship, based on the book by Oliver Jeffers.

Sculpture Garden Tours, 11 am and 1 pm

Meet in the Cowles Conservatory, Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, for a 30-minute tour.

Gallery Tour, 2 pm

Meet in the Bazinet Garden Lobby for a guided tour of the galleries. ASL interpreted; all are welcome.
