Film: Lavatory – Lovestory

Kitchen Lab

Cargill Lounge, 10 am–3 pm
Close your eyes and sniff around for your creative side. In the Kitchen Lab, participants will sample an array of organic and manufactured scents in containers, and spin off a word association, personal story, color poem, or drawing that’s activated by a particular one. Leave your responses next to each container, and we’ll keep a running tally of the most fragrant and off-putting scents in the collection.

Conversationalist’s Café

Cargill Lounge, 1:30–3 pm
Pull up a chair at the Conversationalist’s Café, located outside the exhibition Painter Painter, to share your thoughts on abstract painting with friends and strangers alike. Menus and table hosts, including a tattoo artist, plein air painter, house painter, and muralist, will be on hand to get the banter rolling.
