Rock the Garden 2013
Ladies and gentlemen, friends and neighbors, it’s time once again to Rock the Garden. Our favorite event of the summer is back with a fantastic music lineup.
For updates on the event, tips on what to do and what not to do, and everything else you need to know for the best day ever, visit us on Facebook.
Concertgoers will want to arrive early as Dan Deacon, renowned for the spectacle of fan participation at his live shows—vast, swirling circles; long, snaking lines; or just over-the-top dance contests—kicks off the event with an unmissable performance. Next up, beloved and revered Duluth natives Low take the stage on the wings of their most recent release (produced by Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy) and a slew of sold-out shows across the country, followed by another local-boy-made-good, legendary performer Bob Mould, who will melt the faces off the happy hometown crowd. Los Angeles’ Silversun Pickups will continue the very-welcome guitar assault. As the sun sets on the most picturesque outdoor concert of the year, the Toronto-based power pop Metric closes out the night with their sing-along alt radio anthems.
Tickets are sold through Etix and e-mailed. Follow the link within the e-mail for your print-at-home ticket. No refunds; all ticket sales are final. Maximum of 4 tickets per person. Children ages 6 and older must have a ticket for entrance.
