Explore a range of artistic processes during gallery activities and art-making fun for the whole family.

Enjoy free gallery admission and family fun for all on the first Saturday of each month. Activities designed for kids ages 6 to 12 are offered from 10 am to 3 pm.

Art-Making: Process Painting, 10 am–3 pm

Star Tribune Foundation Art Lab
Join local artist/instructor Clea Felien for a workshop on the technique of painting. Combine new and classic styles to create an artwork of your own.

Activity: Portrait Play, 11 am–3 pm

Cargill Lounge
Find out how today’s artists approach the art of portraiture. Take a seat and get your portrait drawn by a local artist or stop by to observe their methods and techniques.
