“An innovative theatrical experiment … a whimsical excursion into make-believe.” —Boston Globe
Performer/writer/filmmaker Miranda July risks all with a unique experiment in collaboration. This hilarious and moving performance artfully blends fiction and real life in a startling chronicle of time, love, and group faith. On this very special night, July tests the limits of what is possible given two hours and a room full of strangers.
The Walker has had an ongoing relationship with the cross-disciplinary artist. Most recently, July’s second feature film The Future, praised by critics as “surreal, precious, devastating, and brilliant” (Playlist), had its area premiere at the Walker in 2011, after screenings at the Sundance and Berlin film festivals.
