Teen Art Lounge is a monthly night for young artists to hang out, make art, meet other artists, and learn new techniques and processes with other teens at the Walker. Intended for ages 13 to 18, activities are drop-in and occur every third Thursday of the month, hosted by the Walker Art Center Teen Arts Council (WACTAC). Gallery admission is always free for teens, thanks to Wells Fargo.

January Teen Art Lounge: Life along the Fjord
Come join local artist Chloe Fouilloux and WACTAC to explore the relationship between science and art with activities that relate to the earth, changing climactic conditions, and the modern meaning and evolution of global warming. The Star Tribune Foundation Art Lab will be transformed into an “other-worldly” space for art-making and experimentation. Use pH paper as an art material, create your own constellation in the Aurora Borealis Room, or kick back with some snacks and watch related films.
