About the Speaker
Lars Bang Larsen is a professor at the Haute École d’Art et de Design in Geneva, and a research fellow at the University of Copenhagen, where he also received his PhD in art history. He has curated and co-curated group exhibitions, including A History of Irritated Material (Raven Row, London, 2010) and Believe Not Every Spirit, But Try the Spirits (MUMA, Melbourne, 2015). He is co-curator of the 32nd São Paulo Biennial (2016). Larsen’s books include The Model: Palle Nielsen’s “A Model for a Qualitative Society” (1968) (MACBA, 2010), and Networks (MIT Press, 2014).
