During the past 40 years, photographer Sebastião Salgado has traveled across continents in the footsteps of an ever-changing humanity, bearing witness to major events of our recent history, which span international conflicts, starvations, and exodus. He is now embarking on the discovery of pristine territories, of the wild fauna and flora, of grandiose landscapes: a huge photographic project and tribute to the planet’s beauty. Salgado’s life and work are revealed to us by his son, Juliano, who went with him during his last journeys, and by director Wim Wenders, a photographer himself. 2014, France/Brazil/Italy, in French and Portuguese with English subtitles, 110 minutes.
