Filmmaker in Conversation: Omer Fast

An Israeli video artist based in Berlin, Omer Fast has made work that is included in the permanent collections of numerous arts institutions around the world. Fast defines a new relationship between reality and fiction in his films through his exploration of narratives told from different perspectives. Borrowing from traditions of documentary, drama, and fantasy, his features blur the boundaries of time, emotion, and memory as they delve into the psychologies of personal and political conflicts.
