2018 Film Independent Spirit Awards

Members see the finest indie films of the year #AtTheWalker

The Film Independent Spirit Awards celebrate the achievements of today’s most compelling filmmakers. For this special program, members of the Walker, Film Independent, and FilmNorth have the chance to see 20 of the year’s finest indie films—nominees for Best Feature, Best First Feature, Best Documentary, and the John Cassavetes Award—at no charge.

The films are presented Tuesday and Wednesday evenings in January and February. Snacks and drinks for sale in the lobby each night from 5–8 pm.

Pick up two free tickets to each film (available on a first-come, first-served basis) starting at 5 pm each event night.

Walker Film Club members can reserve tickets in advance. FilmNorth and Film Independent members RSVP at myfilmnorth.org. Order two tickets per film online; reservations due by 12 noon on event date.
