Join Daniel Buren for a conversation with Walker curator Pavel Pyś about the artist’s work in performance, painting, installation, and sculpture. Buren’s two-part piece Voile/Toile – Toile/Voile (Sail/Canvas – Canvas/Sail)—which evokes paintings blown by the wind, racing and moving in formation—will be presented in a sailboat race on Bde Maka Ska (June 23), followed by an installation in the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden’s Cowles Pavilion (June 26–October 7).
