Summer Heat ’68

Question authority, break with tradition, and join the revolution. The summer of 1968 is revived, 50 years later, in the Walker Cinema. Experience the heat of ’68 through the eyes of filmmakers who challenged conventions to capture the rebellious spirit of their changing times. Beginning with a star-spangled, superhero satire and ending with a lovers’ quarrel in Central Park, our summer series features five distinctive visions of an explosive, expressive year. Presented in partnership with the Minnesota Historical Society.
