What does “love” mean to everyday individuals? Beginning in the late 1970s, experimental video artist Wendy Clarke invited people to answer this question. The participatory project recorded musings by inmates, businessmen, teenagers, teachers, veterans, and museumgoers alike. Together, the Love Tapes showcases our shared humanity through personal perspectives on one of our most fundamental emotions. 1981, digital, 59 min.

Love Tapes plays throughout the evening on loop in the Bentson Mediatheque, located in the Main Lobby, from 5 to 9 pm.
