On July 8, at 12 noon (CDT), Visual Arts curator and Associate Director of Programs Vincenzo de Bellis talks with Formafantasma (Andrea Trimarchi and Simone Farresin), an Italian design duo based in Amsterdam.
The conversation will examine Formafantasma’s practice, which focuses on design’s ecological and political responsibilities while probing global industries that consume natural resources. These topics will be discussed in relation to the new conditions of life created by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Formafanstama is featured in the exhibition Design for Different Futures, which opens at the Walker on September 12, 2020.
