After Hours: Julie Mehretu

Be the first to see and celebrate the new exhibition Julie Mehretu at this late-night preview party featuring DJ Keezy and live music by Annie Mack. Guests will also enjoy small bites, specialty cocktails, and a drop-in art-making workshop.

In an effort to minimize risk and the spread of COVID-19, all After Hours guests will be required to present either proof of a full course of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of the event.

Proof of vaccination:
1. May be paper (physical card, photocopy, fax, etc.) or digital (photo, etc.) with name matching photo ID.
2. All vaccinations welcome—Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca, Sanofi, etc.
3. Final doses must be administered at least two weeks before the event (by Friday, October 1, 2021).

Guests who are prevented from receiving the vaccine due to medical conditions or closely held religious beliefs may attend with proof of a negative COVID-19 taken test within 72 hours of the event (between 8:30 pm on Tuesday, October 12 and 8:30 pm on Friday, October 15).

Proof of testing:
1. Results may be printed (physical card, photocopy, fax, etc.) or digital (photo, etc.) with name matching photo ID.
2. All tests welcome—PCR test preferred; antigen accepted.
3. We strongly encourage all guests to wear masks at this event, including those who are vaccinated.

Please stay home if you are exhibiting COVID–19 symptoms are waiting for COVID–19 test results, have tested positive for COVID–19, have been exposed to a person who has tested positive for COVID-19 or who has symptoms of COVID-19. Ticket holders who have tested positive for COVID-19 will not be allowed entry into this event.

Masks are strongly encouraged for all guests when not eating or drinking.

Event capacity: We have reduced event capacity by 25%.

Event space: We have maximized the event space by opening all galleries and the entire main floor of the Walker building. Spaces with limited airflow will not be utilized for this event.

Ventilation: The Walker HVAC system performs six or more air changes per hour. Following CDC guidance we are maximizing fresh air, keeping humidity high, and all air handlers are running MERV-13 filters or better.

Hygiene: Staff and attendees are encouraged to wash hands frequently. Hand sanitizing stations have been added throughout the party space.

Cleaning: Wait staff will continuously clean all hard surfaces (bars, tables, etc.).
