Collectors’ Council: Pedro Barbosa Virtual Collection Visit

Walker Collectors’ Council members are invited to join us as we travel virtually to São Paulo, Brazil to the home of prominent collector and archivist Pedro Barbosa. One of the most significant collectors of conceptual art in South America, Barbosa sits on MoMA’s Latin American Art Acquisitions committee and has amassed an impressive 500-piece collection with works from primarily emerging artists. Guests will have the opportunity to ask questions following the visit.

Space is limited; RSVP for this Zoom event online or call 612-375-7641.

The Collectors’ Council provides exposure to the art of our time through access to curators, artists, and specialists in contemporary art and design. Offering social and intellectual exchange with the Walker’s Visual Arts staff, the Council serves as a forum for dialogue and learning as participants advance their own interest and enthusiasm for contemporary culture.

Not yet a Collectors’ Council member? Join the Patrons’ Circle ($2,500 annually) online or call 612-375-7641.
