Summer Tours in the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden

Enjoy the great outdoors while experiencing world-class contemporary art on informative and fun tours led by the Walker’s knowledgeable guides. You’re guaranteed to discover something new, whether it’s your first visit or your 51st!

Tours are free and open to the public. These tours are designed for adult audiences, but participants of all ages are welcome.


When
Every Friday at 5:30 pm and every Sunday at 12 noon. A typical tour lasts 60 min. Join us on Sunday, June 20 at 12 noon for a special Father’s Day–themed tour!

Where
Tours meet just outside the Walker’s Main Entrance at 725 Vineland Place.

Mask wearing is recommended for visitors who are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Assistive listening devices will be used to ensure participants can hear the tour guide while maintaining physical distancing. Participants will be given complimentary disposable headphones to use or may bring their own (compatible with a standard 3.5mm headphone jack).

Tours may be canceled due to inclement weather. For weather updates please call the Box Office at 612-375-7600.

ASL interpretation will be provided on the following dates:
Friday, May 28 at 5:30 pm
Sunday, June 27 at 12 noon
Friday, July 23 at 5:30 pm
Sunday, August 29 at 12 noon
Sunday, September 5 at 12 noon

The Walker is happy to provide ASL interpretation on other tour dates with at least two weeks’ advanced notice.

The Minneapolis Sculpture Garden is wheelchair accessible.
