Curator’s Council members are invited to join curators and fellow Walker patrons for cocktails and a preview of the Avant Garden 2022 art auction featuring work by Julie Mehretu, Jannis Kounellis, Pao Houa Her, Minouk Lim, and more. The Walker curatorial team will be on hand to share their insight on these works and provide advice on building your collection. All proceeds support the Walker’s award-winning artistic and educational programs. RSVP by August 30.

About Curator's Council
The Curator’s Council provides exposure to the art of our time through access to curators, artists, and specialists in contemporary art and design. Offering social and intellectual exchange with the Walker’s Visual Arts staff, the Council serves as a forum for dialogue and learning as participants advance their own interest and enthusiasm for contemporary culture.

Attendance Requirements
Masks are strongly encouraged inside the museum for all visitors ages 2 and older regardless of vaccination status. On Free First Saturdays and Sensory Friendly Sundays, we require visitors ages 2 and older to wear face masks inside the building to support the safety and comfort of families and attendees.
