Explore the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden on an interactive tour with Walker educators during a fun-filled Free First Saturday. Free First Saturday tours are free, open to the public, and designed for participants of all ages. Each tour will relate to the theme of Free First Saturday.

Join us on June 4, July 2, August 6, and September 3 at 12 noon!

Free First Saturday also features free gallery admission on the first Saturday of every month. Gallery admission tickets are available on-site on the event day from the Main Lobby desk; quantities are limited.

Tour Guidelines

Tours meet outside of the main entrance on Vineland Place. The group will gather 5 minutes before the start time. Tour size is limited to 20 participants, on a first-come first-served basis.

Assistive listening devices will be used to ensure participants can hear the Educator while maintaining physical distancing. Participants will be given complimentary disposable headphones to use or may bring their own (compatible with a standard 3.5mm headphone jack).

Tours may be canceled due to inclement weather. For weather updates, please call the Box Office at 612-375-7600.

For private, indoor gallery tours, visit our tours page or email for more information.

The tour on 9/3/22 will be documented with photography. By attending, you consent to having your image documented.

The Minneapolis Sculpture Garden is wheelchair accessible. The Walker is happy to arrange ASL interpretation with at least two weeks advance notice. For more information about accessibility or to request additional accommodations, call 612-375-7564 or email

For more information about accessibility at the Walker, visit our Access page.

Masks are strongly encouraged inside the museum for all visitors ages 2 and older regardless of vaccination status. On Free First Saturdays and Sensory Friendly Sundays, we require visitors ages 2 and older to wear face masks inside the building to support the safety and comfort of families and attendees.

If you have questions or require additional assistance, please email or call 612-375-7600.
