Celebrate winter and the Walker’s collection by exploring the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden on snowshoes provided by the University of Minnesota Center for Outdoor Adventure. After your trek, visit the Walker Library for a rare close-up look at treasures from the Rosemary Furtak Collection of more than 2,000 artists’ books, multiples, zines, mail art, and ephemera.

Snowshoeing will take place until 8:30 pm; quantities and sizes are limited.

Activities are subject to change or cancellation. Please note, snowshoeing is weather permitting and will be canceled if temperatures are projected to be below 10 degrees Fahrenheit. Please check back for updates, details, and COVID-19 guidelines as the program approaches.
