All bangers, no mash! The annual British Arrows Awards serves up the latest and greatest in UK moving image advertising. This year’s screening features everything from Olivia Colman as an oil baron to Salma Hayek as a party crasher.
Experimenting with both form and content, the show encompasses mini documentaries, sci-fi spoofs, animation, and more. Tapping into quiet nostalgia and raucous humor alike, the annual year-end tradition offers a compendium of stories that are as surprising as they are human.
British Arrows bars will open for beverage service one hour prior to 7 and 8 pm shows, Thursday through Saturday. All in-person British Arrows tickets include free gallery admission!
Run time: 73 minutes.

About the British Arrows
The British Arrows is a nonprofit organization started by the creative industry for the creative industry, and every year it celebrates the best in moving image advertising in one of the oldest awards shows in the United Kingdom. The Walker Art Center’s involvement with the British Arrows started in 1986. After a screening of the British Arrows award-winning ad reels at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Walker’s curator at the time wanted to bring the show to Minneapolis. The involvement between the two organizations became a long-standing collaboration, which continues to run proudly today.
