Join us in the Garden for an atmospheric late-night party supporting the Walker’s innovative artistic and educational programming. This year’s theme is Compositions for a Dream.
Imagine a moonlit gala draped in fine gossamer. The evening will unfold like a song, written to transport you into an immersive, fictional world. Festivities begin in the galleries for a gourmet dinner and art auction with live music by Dameun Strange. Dinner guests and After Party attendees will meet in the Wurtele Upper Garden for the dance party of the year. Late-night bites and drinks are provided by Daniel del Prado’s Cardamom, and all attendees get two drink tickets.

Grammy-nominated DJ A-Trak will headline the After Party. The founder of Fool’s Gold Records, A-Trak is perhaps best known for his work as part of the duo Duck Sauce, who produced the chart-topping dance song “Barbra Streisand.” Local talent Kwey and DJ McShellen will start the party.
Proceeds from Avant Garden support the Walker’s mission to empower people to experience the transformative possibilities of the art and ideas of our time and to imagine the world in new ways.
