Embrace the stillness of winter and celebrate the longest night of the year with the Walker’s Winter Solstice Sound Bath series. As the days grow shorter, immerse yourself in an experience that will rejuvenate you for the new year—or come to simply escape the winter chill.
On December 19 and January 2, join Brittney Martin from Heart Glow Wellness and experimental video artist Shawna Lee in the Skyline Room for a one-hour session at 5:30 or 7 pm. Bring a yoga mat or blanket, get comfortable, and let the soothing vibrations of crystal bowls, gongs, and chimes fill the space while enjoying a live, artist-designed video experience.
Due to high interest, this program is expected to hit capacity (80 participants). On-site preregistration is available starting at 5 pm near the Skyline Room. For each session, registered visitors will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis, followed by any walk-ups. After you are registered, we suggest arriving at least 5 minutes prior to start time to guarantee entry.
Gallery admission is free on Thursday nights, 5 to 9 pm. Admission tickets are available online or at the Main Lobby desk.

Bios
Shawna Lee is a Minneapolis-based video artist who creates live visuals using modular video synthesizers, circuit bent devices, analog video equipment, and feedback techniques. Since 2016 she’s made visuals for live shows and events, collaborated with many artists and bands on projects, hosted video art workshops, participated in several gallery shows, and assisted with starting the first experimental video art convention.
Driven by personal experience, Brittney Martin, founder of Heart Glow Wellness, has learned the profound value of self-discovery, healing, and growth. Having navigated the complexities of self-loss, childhood trauma, and struggles with self-confidence, she now channels these insights into a passionate commitment to helping others. As a coach, sound healer, and yoga instructor, Martin is dedicated to sparking inner transformation and illuminating each person’s potential. Through her sound baths, she creates an immersive experience that harmonizes mind, body, and spirit. Her work brings a unique fusion of art and healing, inviting participants to reconnect to their inner calm and creativity. More than a guide, she is a supportive partner in each client’s journey, offering encouragement and support to unlock their unique potential and pursue their dreams with confidence and self-love.
