Get into the spooky spirit and haunt the Walker for a building-wide scavenger hunt.
Each participant receives a list of locations across the building to find clues. Visit them all to decode the mystery word and win a prize. All participants earn a special treat, but those who complete the full scavenger hunt will have a chance to win a spooky tote bag, free gallery passes, an artist catalogue, and more!
Pick up a worksheet in the Cityview Room, near the Pumpkinfest display, starting at 6 pm. Return your completed worksheet to the Cityview Room by 8 pm to redeem it for a prize (limited quantities available).
Tonight the Cityview Room also hosts Pumpkinfest 2025. An annual tradition for Walker Art Center staff since 2002, Pumpkinfest is part autumnal celebration, part collaborative competition. The event invites teams of Walker colleagues to create a work of art using or inspired by the humble pumpkin. Often the entries reference artworks from the Walker’s collection or respond to recent exhibitions, performances, and screenings. Many Walker staff members are artists, and over the years Pumpkinfest creations have ranged from sculptures, paintings, and textiles to videos and installations.
