Chang Yuchen lives and works in New York. Her work has been included in group exhibitions at Beijing Art Biennale (2023); UCCA Dune, Beidaihe, China (2022, 2021); Power Station of Art, Shanghai (2021); and Para Site, Hong Kong (2019), among others. She has given performance-lectures at Carnegie Museum of Art, Pittsburgh (2024); Amant, Brooklyn (2023); Artists Space (2022), Poetry Project (2022), and Abrons Art Center (2019), all New York; and Tai Kwun Contemporary, Hong Kong (2019), among others. Her work is in many institutional collections, including Asia Art Archive, Hong Kong and Brooklyn; Aspen Art Museum; the library of the Museum of Modern Art and Thomas J. Watson Library at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, both New York; Power Station of Art, Shanghai; Tai Kwun Contemporary Artists’ Book Library, Hong Kong; Rosemary Furtak Collection, Walker Art Center Library, Minneapolis; and the Yale University Arts of the Book Collection, New Haven, CT. She holds a BA in photography from Central Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing, and an MFA in print media from School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
