Imagination is Power: Cinema and Experiment in the Czechoslovak Military

In this excerpt from the book Army Film and the Avant Garde: Cinema and Experiment in the Czechoslovak Military ,Alice Lovejoy looks to the sobering vision of Forest (Les, 1969) and 34 Women (34 ženy, 1969), both of which are included in the Expanding the Frame series Imagination is Power.
