Duchess Harris

Duchess Harris joined the faculty of Macalester College in 1998. She is a professor of American Studies and the author of Black Feminist Politics from Kennedy to Trump (Palgrave Macmillan 2018). Harris earned a BA from the University of Pennsylvania, a PhD from the University of Minnesota, and a JD from William Mitchell College of Law. She is the proud curator of the Duchess Harris Collection, a line of more than 65 books written for third to twelfth graders published by Abdo Publishing.
