Hillary Miller is Assistant Professor of English at Queens College, City University of New York. She is the author of Playwrights on Television: Conversations with Dramatists (Routledge, 2020), and Drop Dead: Performance in Crisis, 1970s New York (Northwestern University Press, 2017), winner of the Barnard Hewitt Award for Outstanding Research in Theatre History and the John W. Frick Book Award. Her essays and reviews have appeared in Theatre Journal, Performance Research, Theatre Survey, PAJ, The Radical History Review, and RiDE: The Journal of Applied Theatre and Performance.
