Hiroko Ikegami

Hiriko Ikegami is an art historian who specializes in post-1945 American art and global modernisms. Her publications include The Great Migrator: Robert Rauschenberg and the Global Rise of American Art (2010) and Shinohara Pops! The Avant-Garde Road, Tokyo/New York (2012). In 2015, she served as a consulting curator for the Japanese section of the Walker exhibition International Pop. She is an associate professor at the Graduate School of Intercultural Studies of Kobe University and the vice director of the Oral History Archives of Japanese Art.
