Jill Vuchetich

Jill Vuchetich, Archivist, Head of Archives + Library, Walker Art Center, Minneapolis. Jill Vuchetich has been the archivist at Walker Art Center since 1994. Prior to the Walker, she was associate archivist at Carnegie Hall in New York for several years. She received her Masters in History with a Certificate in Archives from New York University in 1992 and a BA in History and Art History from Lake Forest College, Lake Forest, Illinois in 1986.

Honoring Women Elders: A Mother’s Day Revisitation of The Crystal Quilt by Suzanne Lacy

On Mother’s Day 1987, 430 women over the age of 60 gathered in the Crystal Court of the IDS Center in downtown Minneapolis to be part of a ceremonial performance art work honoring older women.
