Liz Glass

Liz Glass was a curatorial fellow at the Walker Art Center between 2013 and 2015. Her interests include art-music crossovers, performance, time-based artwork (and its documentation), and a intermedia practices. Her master’s thesis focused on the total artwork of Destroy All Monsters, a Detroit band active between 1973 and 1985. While at the Walker, Liz contributed essays on Allan Kaprow’s A Happening in a Cave (1962) and Tony Conrad’s Long String Drone (1972) to Art Expanded, 1958–1978, the second volume of the Living Collections Catalogue. Her writing has also appeared in exhibition catalogues published by the Wattis Institute in San Francisco and in the publications ART PAPERS, Daily Serving, and Art Practical.
