Pepe Menéndez is a Cuban graphic designer living in Havana. He is also a collector of posters who does research and writes about poster art in Cuba. His works have been shown and published both in Cuba and abroad. He has traveled worldwide giving talks and organizing exhibits. He has just finished a book,Posters of the Revolution: Cuban Posters from 1959 to 1989. Design director at Casa de las Americas in Havana, he co-authored a book, with Olimpia Sigarroa, a book about graphic designer named Enrique Garcia Cabrera, his great uncle, in 2016.
