Wendy Tronrud is the associate director of teaching programs at the Bard Prison Initiative and a former high school teacher in New York. She has worked as an education consultant for Art Resources Transfer since 2016 , where she has developed the Reading Resources critical literacy through the arts guides. She recently finished her doctorate in nineteenth-century American poetry and aesthetics at the CUNY Graduate Center.
Expanding on "Jamming": A residency with Studio K.O.S. presented by A.R.T and the Walker
In fall 2020, the Walker Art Center and Art Resources Transfer (A.R.T.) co-presented a residency with artist collective Studio K.O.S. Through workshops and a public event, the project foregrounded the group’s decades-long practice of collaborative pedagogy and its transformative social impact.
