Artist Kate Bingaman has been getting a lot of blog attention for painstakingly drawing her credit card statements (posted at the aptly named site ObsessiveConsumption.com). While looking through her pen-and-ink renderings of Target bills and Apple Credit statements from MBNA, I stumbled upon this, a likeness of the Walker’s exhibition catalogue for The Last Picture Show: Artists Using Photography, 1960-1982. More surprising than her charming rendition of Fischli and Weiss’ Der Brand von Uster (featured on the cover) was the price–she snagged it for half price at D.A.P.‘s book fair booth.
