Event Production: A Team that Makes it Possible
Most Walker staff work behind the scenes in supporting the presentation of world-class art. One of these indispensable groups is the Event Production Department, who makes the live performance, film screenings, and lectures possible. Whether building a stage, rigging lighting, projecting a film, mixing a live band’s audio, or just setting up a simple tabletop microphone, the Event Production team draws from a myriad of skills to make the seemingly impossible a reality. With such a variety of ambitious and unique projects under their belts, the Walker asked them to share some of their most memorable experiences.
Creating bespoke solutions for novel artist projects like the soundscapes of both Annie Dorsen and Radouan Mriziga.

The thing that makes working at the Walker great, (besides our team)—some of the best performances I’ve ever seen, I’ve seen at the Walker.

I love our team for their flexibility, skill, passion, laughs, and weirdness! The high level of skill and care they bring to Walker artists behind the scenes that is often unseen ...because they are doing it right.
